You will get (and already got) opinions in a wide range. It depends on
what you consider a "*valid*" reason. Fact is, there are many MTA with
invalid greetings, for reasons like lazyness, cluelessness, unawareness,
ease of setup, software flaws.
I treat EHLO data as totally meaningless, so I don't care about it.
After all, I don't want to lose mail because of such a thing.
