[exim] Help required!

    While browsing i got across www.exim.org and decided to make a new e-mail server. Currently i am using Sendmail with Linux 9.0 , i downloaded the necessary tar.gz for emix 4.51 with the installation guide. luckily at the first time make install worked for me and i received the message that emix is installed , however when i tired to test the emix by using emix -bV commnad linux returns me with Command not found Error!!
can you guide me what is the problem
