Sorry for delaying the reply so much.
First, thanks for all the replys.
The problem with the 40d process was the file exim was accessing was
deleted (inexisting file open).
But the original problem ("unroutable mail domain") persists.
A quick review:
- static internet IP
- email gets bounced "unroutable mail domain" (after virus-scan)
- sender sends the mail again
- email gets delivered
Some of the domains which made problems:
- mland.gr
- medseag.com
- gemline.com.tr
- amstelship.nl
- dataxprs.com.eg
I tried to disable the BIND forward section (so run-through
DNS-hierarchy) and there was no improvement.
Is there a way for better debugging?
