open (LOGGING, ">>/var/log/dnsbl_log");
print LOGGING "@email\n";
close LOGGING;
however, a while loop on <STDIN> is much easier on the memory overhead
so is a:
use IO::File;
$email = 'STDIN';
while ( defined($_ = $email->getline()) ) { print }
