Sounds like you didn't make the exim binary SUID root.

Well I recompiled the program with UID=root, and now I can receive
mails, but when sending I get this :

Apr 15 08:14:46 - exim[7071]: 2005-04-15 08:14:46 1DMLy6-0001pM-QO User
0 set for remote_smtp transport is on the never_users list

What is the problem ? Thanks in advance,
