Which server is the "remote server" ?
How do you conclude that the messages are spam? If your server is able
to classify them rightly, then I'd suggest that you reject them
forthright. Don't send bounces, as that may lead to some folks upstream
to "Teergrub" your server.

You could stop exim and start it again using "exim -bd". You could then
use whatever method you were trying to remove them since with just -bd,
exim does not start any queue runners.
