that you cannot specify to wich host/s the callout must be done and you
also cannot specify which email address to test, maybe it could be
expanded to allow

verify = abuse@???/callout

or

verify = recipient/callout/use_hosts=host.foo.bar

but maybe, having it like a lookup would be more natural
