Exchange has supported IMAP since at least v5.5. Why can't you enable
the IMAP connector, connect to each account using Thunderbird, and move
the mail over to the IMAP server running on the Exim box (BTW, I assume
you realize that Exim is just an SMTP MTA, and you'll need something
like Courier to provide IMAP client access). Provided you don't have
too many clients, this should be a pretty easy move. If you have
several hundred e-mail accounts to move, you might want to use a Perl
script to do the IMAP moves. Just be cautious, as Exchange has been
known to strip out a lot of headers when a message is accessed via IMAP.
