Running this test against root@??? and root@???
gives
root@???
router = dnslookup, transport = remote_smtp
host saxon.cornfield.org.uk.cornfield.org.uk [unknown] MX=10
** unusable **
host saxon.cornfield.org.uk [80.229.196.162] MX=10
host betelgeuse.orionwt.co.uk.cornfield.org.uk [unknown] MX=15
** unusable **
host relay.orion-web.co.uk [unknown] MX=15
** unusable **
root@???
router = dnslookup, transport = remote_smtp
host meissa.orion-w-t.co.uk [62.193.235.21] MX=0
host betelgeuse.orionwt.co.uk [82.152.19.33] MX=5
I know the DNS MX settings for cornfield.org.uk are messed up, I have
been trying to fix them since yesterday (they are correct according to
Easyposts web screen, just waiting for DNS to catch up) but it should
work. The MX records for orion-w-t.co.uk are ok.
I still don't understand my problem, all local mail routes ok, remote
mail fails on sender verification and and arbitary tests with exim -bt
on several known mail accounts are the same one the boxes I test
(cornfield.me.uk, cornfield.org.uk and orion-w-t.co.uk)
Thanks, once agan
