Would it be possible (well, I'm sure it would be) to add an ACL that handles
sync errors?
I know it seems rather odd to ask about doing this, but I was thinking of
ways that IPs could be auto blacklisted that do this by using an ACL and a
mysql lookup to insert the offender into a table (or run a script to handle
it).
You might even go as far as to do allow/deny the sync error (this part is
really of no interest to me).
Most of the sync errors that I see are at connection time only. Sure, I
could have yet another program sit and watch the logs and handle it, but if
I could do this, I think it'd be useful. Even if I just delay the offender
for a few minutes and hangup on them.
