Some wisdom to back up my rant:
Greylisting is (still) very effective. However the side effects are
nasty. It is also an antisocial method. Clogging up remote queues,
delaying bona fide emails ...
If you run a small shop, get the parameters right and are prepared for
one or the other complaint, you can do it. But I'd never implement it
for a whole University.
