No particular reason. I just did not see any reference in my search of the archive
to people using filters or suggesting that filters were the only realistic way to do
it properly.

On to another issue: In working up a suitable filter I found I need to use the alias
keyword on the personal condition. It seems odd that you can only have a single
address on the alias keyword and not a list. A list would allow:

alias ${readfile{/alias/list/file}{:}}
or
alias ${lookup...}

With that I could have a single filer for everyone. As it is I will have to have a
separate filter file for each user, each wih its own list of alias keywords. (Some
of my users have more aliases than others.)
