[exim] Exim config question

Hi

I have been using Exim for 3/4 years, mainly with
Amavis/Clamav/Spamassassin. I have just reconfigured my mail system to
replace Amavis with Exiscan, and I keep getting this error ...

Is there an easy solution? I have tried opening up the permissions on

/var/spool/exim (currently 750, owned by exim:exim)
/var/spool/exim/scan (currently 750, owned by exim:exim)

Clamd runs as clamav:clamav.
