I'm having this problem with verizon.net as well. But I'm afraid I
don't understand this fix.

I'm running exim 4.41 on a Solaris 9 system.

I set smtp_enforce_sync = false -- Is that the same as
no_enforce_sync? (When I entered no_enforce_sync in configure it was
rejected as an unknown configuration.)

Does this mean setting the rfc1413 configuration or killing the ident
daemon on the system?

Sorry I'm so unclear on the concept. I'd really appreciate help. Thanks.
