Hi,
to take some heat from exim-users, the Debian project proudly presents
its own exim4 users mailing list. People can subscribe via the web
interface on
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-exim4-users
There is also a development mailing list, available via
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-exim4-devel
The Debian Exim 4 packages, starting with the upcoming 4.50-1
packages, have prominent references to the users mailing list all over
the place. Additionally, upstream docs have been patched to include a
reference to pkg-exim4-users whereever exim-users@??? is
mentioned. Some gratuitous references to exim-users have been removed.
I hope that this will greatly reduce the Debian-specific noise from
exim-users.
exim-users participants are invited to send Debian users asking
Debian-specific questions that cannot be answered without Debian
knowledge to the Debian Exim 4 mailing list. The Debian Exim 4 mailing
list also allows discussions about exim in general, hopefully taking
even more support traffic away from exim-users.
Albeit the mailing list being called pkg-exim_4_-users (which was
necessary because the Debian package is called exim4), questions about
exim 3, the Default MTA in Debian woody, can be asked here as well.
Greetings
Marc
