Ah, but that does prompt the solution. I didn't mention that my IMAP host
is taking delivery from a newly deployed SMTP cluster via SMTP, and that
the IMAP server used to be the SMTP server. I need to reconfigure the SMTP
server on the IMAP host such that it doesn't qualify domains on mail that
has passed through the SMTP cluster.
