Hi Ron,

for what it's worth, I'm seeing something similar here on FreeBSD v4.10
and v4.11, both with SA v2.64 and v3.0.2. The only way to stop spamd is
to kill the process. Stopping it via the rc script simply does not work,
not even from the commandline.
