There are different ways you can invoke spamassassin. Using the
"spamassassin"-perl-script, the subject can be modified using the
settings you describe. However, there are other options.
If you use exiscan, it will just query spamd for a score and a report.
You can use the given results for anything you want... for example for
tagging the message or modifying the subject yourself. But that is your
job, spamd won't touch the message.
