I've been off the list for quite some time, but now I'm back in
mail-business and will follow this mailinglist again.
Currently I'm asked to install the latest exim on RHEL3, running on
dual-itanium-systems. Well, personally I don't really expect to run into
problems there (64 bit has been around quite some time), but have been
asked to really, really make sure that no problems are to be expected
when running exim on 64 bit systems, especially itanium.
Of course I have to verify that the latest IPv6- and SPA-patches are
applied and won't cause 64-bit-related problems. Needless to mention
that neither IPv6 nor SPA will be enabled on those special systems.....
you probably all know that kind of assignment. ;-)
Any pitfalls I should be aware off? Otherwise I'll just download the
current exim-src-rpm for rhel3 and start compiling. ;-)
