[exim] demime & malware

Dear Exim users,

exiscan-acl-spec.txt still suggests using "demime":

    If you  do antivirus  scanning, it  is recommened  to use  the
    "demime" condition before the antivirus ("malware") condition.

Commands in src/EDITME (of the latest snapshot) suggest to

    use the MIME ACL instead of the "demime" condition

I want to feed "decoded" parts to the virus scanner (currently the
AV-engine scans the entire .eml-file). It is not possible to use
"malware" in MIME ACL.

Are there any obvious workarounds (except using "demime")?
