Subject: [exim] X-UIDL field appears strange + no logentry

Hello,

we are using exim 4.41 with a pretty standard config on a webserver and
somehow people manage to create
emails with an empty TO: ... ahem :)
While we are still trying to track down that particular problem I figured
that the following excerpt is
not really ok:

Note the X-UIDL field.

(anonymized a little)

X-Persona: <Discoroot>
Return-path: <>
Envelope-to: wwwrun@???
Delivery-date: Sat, 11 Dec 2004 20:15:17 +0100
Received: from mail by some.server.de with local (Exim 4.41)
         id 1CdCi5-00088n-4R
         for wwwrun@???; Sat, 11 Dec 2004 20:15:17 +0100
Auto_submitted: auto-generated
From: Mail Delivery System <Mailer-Daemon@???>
To: wwwrun@???
Subject: Mail failure - no recipient addresses
Message-Id: <E1CdCi5-00088n-4R@???>
Date: Sat, 11 Dec 2004 20:15:17 +0100
X-UIDL: TOA!!V%7"!H2)!!!/<!!
Status: U

A message that you sent contained no recipient addresses, and therefore no
delivery could be attempted.

[end of the mails I get]

The loglines for these emails look like:

2004-12-11 20:15:17 cwd=/var/spool/exim 7 args: /usr/local/bin/exim -t -oem
-oi -f <> -E1CdCi4-00088l-Tr

and

E1CdCi5-00088n-4R does not have any entries according to exigrep!?!?!

Is this behaviour normal ?
