Sujet: [exim] Why does exim4 stat /boot and /proc/<pid>/mounts very often?
Hi all,

the subject says it nearly all.. ;-)

Is there any reason why exim4 tries to access

/
/boot
/proc/<pid>/mounts
/dev/pts

when running?

I noticed this while updating ACLs for exim on an grsecurity enabled
box.

If access to mounts is really needed it woul IMO be better to use
/proc/mounts so that proper restrictive ACLs can be defined...

Any hints?

-Marc
