I found a file in my /etc/exim4/ directory that is named
"update-exim4.conf.conf". Would the directives in this file have
anything to do with what's going on? In my
/etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf file...
# /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf
#
# Edit this file and /etc/mailname by hand and execute update-exim4.conf
# yourself or use 'dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config'
