[exim] Sieve filter or Exim filter ?

Hello,
I already have a .forward file I created following a tutorial about
spamassassin.
I would like to append commands to filter mails and dispatch them into
directories.
I dont see anywhere if it's a Sieve syntax or an Exim one.
Would you tell me what is it? Is it indicated by the first line?
