Now I thought that was just outlook express.

Sadly yes, here is a sample log entry

2004-12-02 14:47:02 1CZsEY-00011m-69 H=(venox) [158.125.50.126]
I=[158.125.1.226]:587 Warning: Client=Microsoft Outlook, Build 10.0.2627

As you can see, using port 587 which does not support tls_on_connect and
working quite happily. But as I said. clients which give the clients ms
Office Outlook do not work on 587 but work on 465.

It's a mad world

Will do that then, though for most of ours I expect 465 will be the one.
