[exim] unknown lookup type

So far the archives have been no help to me. I can't find an answer to
this question. Can someone shed some light on this for me? I don't
want to have to use another MTA.

Every time i try to send email, I get this...
LOG: MAIN PANIC DIE
unknown lookup type "foo.net"

Where foo.net is the `dnsdomainname` of my server. What's wrong?
