I'd rather except from this test the *few* sites that we have an
overwhelming business need to accept mail from in spite of their
violation of the RFCs, while continuing to reject from anyone else.

Fortunately, exim makes that easy to implement.

One or other of them, indeed. But "all" or "none" aren't the only
solutions.
