That's a very good point!
mini_sendmail is so simplistic that it doesn't even have any kind of
config file at all -- if you even want to use a server other than
"localhost" you need to specify it on the command line! ;-)
(i.e. it is ``configured'' by writing yet another wrapper script)

mini_sendmail isn't perfect of course, but it's better than some others
and it will normally suffice do the basic job of helping Mailx or other
old-fashioned command-line MUAs to do their deliveries by way of SMTP.
