[exim] Exim with saslauthd authenticator

Dear Everyone,

I am wondering how to correctly build Exim with saslauthd smtp
authenticaiton support.
Currently I have compiled Exim 4.43 in FreeBSD 5.3 with cyrus-sasl2 and
saslauthd support.
Althought login cyrus-sasl2 has no problem, but smtp authentication from
external network failed.

I use the following saslauthd authtenticators for smtp authentication:

sasl_cram_md5:
       driver = cyrus_sasl
        public_name = CRAM-MD5
        server_set_id = $1

sasl_plain:
        driver = cyrus_sasl
        public_name = PLAIN
        server_set_id = $2

P.S. I m using Outlook 2000 mail client.
