If you ask this question on the exim-users mailing list, you are more
likely to get an answer. This list (exim-dev) is currently discussing
the mechanics and arrangements for the Exim development process.
Exim has certainly been built on Mac OSX but I don't know which
releases. Just try it. The existing Darwin configuration files may just
work.
