This is often the first thing I ask for, these days. I got tired of digging
unsuccessfully through the mail logs looking for a failure, only to discover
that the user at the other end misspelled our domain name. Usually these
are people at sites that run a particular Microsoft product known for its
extremely terse and unhelpful bounce messages.
