The exim.org mailserver (sesame.csx.cam.ac.uk) has an IPv6 address (the
one above) and an IPv4 address - the familiar dotted quad IP.
Your server doesn't have an IPv6 IP / IPv6 transit anywhere, so you
can't send mail to sesame.csx over IPv6. Once your exim finds that out
it retries sending mail over IPv4 and that gets through.
