Many thanks for yr reply.
Yr analysis is spot on and yes yr right, the square brackets are illegal, I
just didn't spot them.
All of what you say, is proven by the fact that, the first box, when it
added the SIZE extension, didn't add the square brackets. So yes it is the
second box using the size option independently, but adding illegal square
brackets.

Content adapter, well it's a box for converting multimedia file formats from
one format to another, i.e for converting the obscure types (which nobody
would have an application to run), to a format which is, well pretty
prevalent in the normal world. Can't say too much. The whole thing happens
within a private network, doesn't touch the WWW.
