[exim] no reverse lookup of hostname in log of SMTP connecti…

Really tiny niggle this one...

Is there any reason why there is no reverse-lookup to get a hostname for
logging an incoming connection, but there is when logging the connection
closure?

2004-09-23 20:16:01 SMTP connection from [131.111.8.19]:36605 (TCP/IP 
connection count = 1)
    ...
2004-09-23 20:16:02 SMTP connection from libra.cus.cam.ac.uk 
[131.111.8.19]:36605 closed by QUIT

This seems consistent in my logs, for every connection, so it's not just
a transient DNS lookup delay.
