Exim 4? If by any chance you are running Exim 3 (many Debian users are),
please upgrade first - Exim 3 has been dead and buried for a very long
time.

This may well help you get started, and it's probably a fair bit less
painful than using procmail. Also, I'm not sure, but at a quick glance at
the procmail config you provided, it probably generates collateral spam if
SpamAssassin rejects any mails.

Also, SpamAssassin itself should be a last (not first) resort for
antispam. See Tor Slettnes' excellent guide for some very helpful advice
and tips, some of which are a lot more resource-friendly than
SpamAssassin:
