Hi,
I try to configure in exim 4 a trivial mailling list like in smail3.2.
In smail i can create a file in /usr/local/lib/smail/lists (or similar)
with a List of Users, and than i have a primitiv maillinglist. Very
good for company internal distribution and better to manage like a list
in /etc/aliases.
In exim4 in configure i define:
listforward:
driver = redirect
file = /usr/exim/lists/$local_part
no_verify
no_expn
check_ancestor
file_transport = address_file
pipe_transport = address_pipe
reply_transport = address_reply
In /usr/exim/listS/alert for example there are three user mailadresse.
And it works, if i send a local mail. All three users get the mail.
But from outside via SMTP, exim give "Unknown User" as error. What i do
wrong or is there another way to do that (without installation mailman.
