System is a Debian Woody Linux system with two NICs.
I just can't get Exim4 to respond on the hostname.
If I do
telnet 127.0.0.1 25
telnet localhost 25
then I get the Exim4 greeting.
If I do
telnet hostname 25
telnet hostname.domain.com 25
telnet LAN_IP_Address 25
telnet WAN_IP_Address 25
then it does not work.
I have tried dc_local_interfaces as:
0.0.0.0.25:127.0.0.1.10025
LAN_IP_address.10025:WAN_IP_Address.10025:0.0.0.0.25:127.0.0.1.10025
LAN_IP_address:WAN_IP_Address:0.0.0.0.25:127.0.0.1.10025
Not setting dc_local_interfaces at all
I am using the backported Exim4 with Exiscan.
Spamassassin and virus scanner work fine.
How do I get Exim4 to listen on port 25 for the LAN IP
Address?
