[exim] missing shared libraries

hie all ,

i am wat u might call a newbie , i am having this problem , do i need to reinstall that file or do a reinstallation , i was using RH7.3 and upgraded it to RH9 and suddenly i am having this error when starting exim.Please help

[root@domain etc]# service exim start
Starting exim: /usr/sbin/exim: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
                                                           [FAILED]
[root@domain etc]#
