It turns out to be a "feature". Pine 4.60 enables "format=flowed" (RFC
2646) BY DEFAULT. This causes it to muck around with messages, in
particular, space-stuffing lines that start with spaces. Sure, you can
disable this (I have now done so), and yes, there it is in the Release
Notes, but how many ordinary users will know that using "format=flowed"
will break signed messages? I didn't.
