What do you want to do exactly? I'm not sure how you want to "cache" mail.
Do you mean queuing? Exim, naturally, already comprehensively handles
queuing of mail (that is, after all, one of the main jobs of an MTA). Are
you trying to set up a secondary MX?

Or do you mean you want to create copies of mails? (if so, that's in the
FAQ).

Or are you confused and thinking that Exim is a POP/IMAP server or
something?
