[Exim] debian switch from split-config to monolithic

I am trying to use Vexim and it seems it will be alot easer
if I don't use the split-config setup on my Debian box.

Do I simply do a "dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config" and
choose monolithic and all the settings will be put in
one file? Or will I lose all of my configs?

In other workds, do I have to manually get all of my settings
out of the small files and add them to the master file?
