[Exim] Problem with Exim 4.36

Hello all,

I've been scratching my head over this one, I've recompiled Exim and upgraded
from 4.10, although all the config changes and local scan perl scripts have
been reworked theses one last niggle.

All emails going through this email relay machine have all the body text
modified so that each line is now two lines. ie. as if the following was run
perl -lre 's/\n/\n\n/g' on the body.

there are no filters, no pipes and I've got a version without the local_scan
functionality doing the same thing.

any ideas?
