Slackware 10.0
Exim 4.41
DSL connection: PC>router>modem>internet
My machine hostname is: lightstar.net
I'm trying to get Exim set up to to send mail to/through my DSL ISP, which is
Verizon.
I've just installed Exim 4.41 and I'm just in the testing stage. When I try to
send a test message to myself at yahoo.com, I get this error:
-----------Test message follows-----------------------------------------------

Why does Exim insert <root@???> in the SMTP>>MAIL FROM: field? That
seems to be the whole problem. How do I make Exim insert jerryvb@???
there, which is my real Verizon email address?
Thanks in advance!
