Subject: [Exim] Unrouteable address
Hi,

Today I upgraded from exim3 to exim4.

I use a debian based distro and did an apt-get. It ran through the
configuration and when it finished, it worked. The only thing I couldn't get to
work was a default address to send emails that were not correctly addressed. I
searched the net and found information about catch all and tried to get that
going. I spent quite a while and in frustration, rebooted the server.

Well, the reason I'm here is because after it rebooted, exim no longer worked
properly. when I send an email to myself from this yahoo account I get:

2004-08-03 22:13:47 H=web50609.mail.yahoo.com [206.190.38.248]
F=<rpowersau@???> rejected RCPT <russ@???>: Unrouteable address

I removed the catchall file I had added under the router directory and the *:
russ I had put into /etc/aliases. But nothing helps.

Any thoughts or pointers would be very welcome.

Thanks,
Russ
