RH{AS,EL}3 etc is RH9 with a new paint job. Exim should link against
db4 - your best bet is to have a look at the exim rpm SPEC/SRPM file in
ftp://ftp.exim.org/pub/rpms-for-exim/
The SRPM should rebuild happily enough on the pay-for RH versions,
although I can't test this since I don't have copies to hand.
