[Exim] unset configuration variables

Is there any way to explicitly unset a variable?

I'm wanting to specify a system-filter using a
string-expansion (a DB lookup, as it happens),
and for some situations I'd like to avoid the
overhead of a filter access. Currently I'm
expanding those situations to a null-filter
file.
