The log says it all. You're sending from a blatently invalid e-mail
address (root@debian-box), so Yahoo is rejecting it (as would most
people). You need to be sending from
root@??? .

You may want to consider one or more of the following:

- giving your box a fully-qualified hostname (best)

- The Exim option primary_hostname, if it can't work out your
fully-qualified hostname for some reason.

- The Exim option qualify_domain
