Subject: [Exim] synchronization error (next input sent too soon) log error?
Once in a while I find these puzzling log entries:

2004-06-05 11:07:10 H=(haus) [200.232.190.165]
F=<n.chandrasekar@???> rejected RCPT <xxxxx>: unknown user
on secondary hit: Unrouteable address
2004-06-05 11:07:10 SMTP protocol violation: synchronization error
(next input sent too soon): rejected "RCPT TO:<yyyyy>" H=(haus)
[200.232.190.165] next input="H=(haus) [200.232.190.165]"

I understand the "synchronization error (next input sent too soon)"
part, but I am surprised by the coincidence that the reported next
input is identical in format and content to part of what would be
exim Received: header. In this case we have:

next input="H=(haus) [200.232.190.165]"

that is identical to the corresponding part in the same connection log:

2004-06-05 11:07:10 H=(haus) [200.232.190.165]

Should I trust the "next input" reported or is it a bug?
