Life isn't as black-and-white as some would like it to be. We have
business connections that are the same as residential ones, except you
pay more for them. That's right, they go through the same network, but
you pay much more for the "business" nomenclature.
Business ones aren't necessarily any better than residential connections
either, unfortunately, so the OP isn't wrong in running an email system
off a residential line.
