I know this is pretty harmless, but has anyone else noticed that the
later versions of exim now leave defunct processes lying around?
exim 1584 0.0 0.2 8224 2080 ? S 03:08 0:00
/usr/sbin/exim -bd -q1h
root 3519 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 04:08 0:00 [exim]
<defunct>
I'm noticing this on Fedora Core 1 and Fedora Core 2 with exim 4.33
that comes with FC2 and a hand-rolled 4.34 on FC1.
I guess it could mean there is a missing waitpid() (or something like
that) call somewhere..
Anyone else seeing this?
Nathan.
